It's so hard to believe that just one month ago I left Dallas for my first international competition in Minsk, Belarus. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this experience was!!!!
In the US, competitions are organized by age group and level of difficulty. In international competitions, age is the only factor. I had just finished Nationals at a Level 9 here in the States but in Belarus, I competed against Level 10's and Elites from around the world. There were 12 countries that competed in the 2017 Slavic Games (US, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Turkey, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Japan and others). Overall I finished 18th.
I've got lots of pictures to share . . . . Thanks again to all of you who follow me and provided support and encouragement for this adventure!
