What does being healthy mean to you? Does it consist of only running or lifting weights? At Denison, being healthy consists of so much more than calories burned. We encourage our students to focus on the whole person when considering overall health and wellness.

We hope everyone is well on a beautiful Earth Day here in central Ohio! If you can, get out and enjoy some socially distant nature today! While we are not yet ready to welcome you all back to campus, know that we are making plans and preparations to hit the ground running when we get the go ahead. We value all of our members, whether you are student, faculty, staff, community, and we are looking forward to getting you back in the water and recreating as soon as possible!

While you are cooped up at home, here is a neat idea to try: Write Letters to seniors at assisted living homes in your area. With most facilities like this not allowing visitors, our seniors are definitely feeling the isolation. Call a local assisted living center and ask the social director or another staffer for the name of someone who might really appreciate the note and positive encouragement.
