Our last marketing email has been sent, our last Instagram post is up, and now we just watch to see if we can beat last years pre-reg total. We really do want to make this party bigger than last year.

The race day forecast keeps getting better honestly, we’ll have some water on hand and Dos Hermanos Taco Truck will have food and beverages to refuel around an early lunch time

Also; This is a 25’ muddy section about 100 feet from the base of the Appomattox climb. It’s thick and even with this weeks dry weather it’s not going to dry and you may need to dismount.

Probably the most interesting story from last years race is this picture; my first year as race director and a racer taking his shoes off between races had a broken stake kicked into the side of his foot. It was a bloody mess, but we got him cleaned up (first aid is at registration) and not only did he finish his next race, he won it, and hoisted aloft the offending stake.
