Working with a five-year-old Arabian that’s been bridled and ridden several times before. Today there were several other horses out and had him distracted so he did not want to stand still and be bridled. So taking some time to work through and get him to comply without a big fight. Between the pictures and videos (which will be posted separately) you will see how I get him to stand and put his head down to let me bridle him.

2nd day of working a horse I brought home from a youth camp in Colorado. I spent about an hour with the 4 year old gelding getting him “started” the final night of the camp.
I regret not videoing him the first time we went to catch him and load him in a trailer. He was scared and hard to catch. He je**ed away once during the 30 minutes it took to load him.
What a transformation took place as he found someone he could trust and let go of some of his fear.
What an example of the peace and security we can find as we come to know the transforming power that comes from being in a right relationship with God. We trust, by faith, in the redeeming work of His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is a c**t that I worked in a clinic this spring. I now have about 7 rides on him. Am getting him ready to begin to work cattle this week.
