Due to some unfortunate developments and changes in availability of match staff, I regret to inform you that our final event of the 2025 season scheduled for this Saturday is cancelled. For those of you who registered for the match or had contacted us with inquiries about the match, what your inbox or DM’s for a message from me.

Thank you to everyone that made it to a Saturday match or one of the Tactical Tuesdays. We really enjoy when you come out, ring some steel, shred some paper, and share in some camaraderie.

Hey folks, apologies for late notice but we will be cancelling Tactical Tuesday this week due to weather. Pistol practice needs paper targets and the rain will just melt those. Hopefully we can see everyone at the next tactical Tuesday!

Tactical Tuesday coming this week, second to last of the season! Plan is to drill pistol basics and then add a Timed element. Well some predictive shooting from 7,10,15,20 yards. Then we’ll work to a few Bill drills with goals of 3,3.5 and 4 seconds. Plan for 150ish rounds of handgun ammo.
Shooting starts at 6, finishes around 8ish.

Unfortunately we are cancelling the match this month. A couple of our volunteer staff have had some unfortunate life events come up leaving only a single RSO available to execute all of the match responsibilities (stage plans, setup, registration, RSOing, etc.); which presents a level of risk for something unsafe to occur that we are not willing to accept. We hope to see you next month or at one of the Tactical Tuesday events

We’ll be working rifle/ pistol drills, emphasis on abandoning and retrieving weapons between shot strings. Shooting a few drills focusing on speed of target transition and weapon transition. Plan for 100 rounds of handgun and 100 rounds of rifle. Probably won’t use that many, but that gives some extra room if you want to run any drill more times.

Weather looks like 78 degrees mix of sun and clouds so should be a great night.

Come on out tomorrow night for another round of Tactical Tuesdays! We will be focusing on pistol drills, shooting while moving and target transitions and wrap up with a practice stage. Plan for 150 rounds pistol, 50 rounds rifle.

Get ready to unleash your potential tomorrow night at our inaugural Tactical Tuesday! With a forecast of 82 and sunny, we'll kick off with some energizing drills and wrap up with a practice stage. This is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Meet at Grantsburg Rod and Gun clubhouse at 6pm. Admission is $5 for rod and gun club members and $20 for non-members
