RICE LAKE 1/24

This past Saturday we braved the cold and traveled to Rice Lake for their Icicle Invite!

There were only 5 teams so it went very quick!

VAULT: Both Sammi and Kenley had a SH on vault and Avery placed 3rd!
BARS: Sammi had a SH on Bars
BEAM: Kenley and Abby both had had a stick routine and Kenley got a PERSONAL BEST! Alexis had a SH on and Khloe tied her SH.

Congratulations Carla and Kaiden!

Carla and Kaiden advanced to state solo dance Feb 6th at the La Crosse Center!

This is the first time Grantsburg will be represented at state dance!!

Congratulations!!!!!

MEET UPDATES:
1/10 we traveled to River Falls
BEAM: Kenley achieved a Personal Best and Khloe a SH with a stuck routine!
FLOOR: Avery, Khloe, and Sammi all had SH.
VAULT: Khloe vaulted for the 1st time! The judges were so proud of her and award her a special prize at the end of the meet! Kenley tied her SH.
BARS: Avery stood up her dismount!
AA: Khloe had her first AA score!

1/16 HOME vs RPHF
Friday we hosted Rush City/Pine City/Hinckley-Finlayson
We took 2nd with a 117.025, but a team Season High!
We also had a SH on Vault and Floor!

VAULT: ALL 6 girls had a SEASON HIGH! WOW! It was a great start to the meet! Abby tied for 2nd place with an 8.8 and Avery took 4th with an 8.7.

BARS: Both Sammi and Khloe had a SH on bars! Abby placed 1st and Avery 4th!

BEAM: Avery had a great routine! 1st stick of the season and placed 1st with an 8.55 and another SH! Abby placed 5th! Alexis also placed 5th on JV!

FLOOR: All 5 girls had solid routines! Khloe and Sammi both had a SH. Abby cliched 1st with Avery only .05 behind for 2nd!

AA: Both Freshman, Avery and Khloe had success and upped their All Around Score by 2 or more points! Getting them both a SH! Abby placed 2nd overall and Avery was only .2 behind placing 3rd and Sammi 5th.

Next stop: RICE LAKE INVITE 1/24
