Happy Friday!!!

Have you noticed a new button near the log-in button? If not, go check it out! We placed this button here to be a “seasonal” button to help streamline traffic to our more popular pages. Right now, it is set to take you to Nordic Pulse for XC Trail Conditions…but soon it will take you to the public tee times page! (Owners and members still need to log in for tee times to get the correct rates).

With springtime quickly approaching, this is also a great time to log into the website and update your interest areas on your profile. Once logged in, click on “My Profile” under “My Account” and select all the areas that interest you (on the right)! This will ensure that you get targeted emails with event information that is tailored to your interests. You will still continue to receive other weekly newsletters.

Happy Friday! With the great trail conditions, we wanted to take a moment to re-share this graphic with everyone as a reminder of proper trail etiquette. Please reference the above graphic about trail etiquette that is recognized for all Nordic trails (Scroll for second part of graphic). For those with four-legged friends in Eastman, you are welcome to take them on Lake Trail, Butternut Trail and Heath Forest while you are skiing or snowshoeing. Dogs are not allowed on other cross-country trails or to run loose on the golf course in any season. In addition, neither motorized nor wheeled vehicles are allowed on our trails other than the equipment used for grooming. Be sure to check in using the mobile app or website, which provides useful data to benefit our programming. Lastly, don’t forget to check Nordic Pulse for conditions before heading out!

Are you a morning person? If yes, join us tomorrow morning for our second Fresh Tracks session! Meet us at the Cross Country Center at 6:15 a.m. sharp for a 30–40-minute ski on freshly groomed trails, a perfect way to start your day! Registration for tomorrow’s session is required on the Eastman Calendar by 4 p.m. today (log-in required, ECA members only).

Join us for Boards and Forbes, a Social Hour for Eastman Cross Country! Ski for an hour, then join us in the Hearth Room at Forbes Tavern. The first session was a hit! Thursdays from 3 to 5:30 p.m. until March 5. Rentals are available. This pop-up event is brought to you by the Winter Sports Subcommittee. No registration is needed.
