Welcoming our newest Personal Trainer, Bill!!💪🏼

Bill moved back to South Carolina from California to be closer to family.🫂 He's an Air Force veteran which is where he began his fitness journey before content streaming when people still had to read books for information.😂 Bill likes to think he learned the hard way so you won’t have to; when it comes to physical fitness.

He's an ISSA-NCCPT accredited certified personal trainer with certifications in corrective exercise, exercise recovery, transformation, strength and conditioning, and nutrition.🏋🏻‍♂️

Bill is excited to be working at the Y, can't wait to see everyone come in.💚

Meet Monica — Emergency Manager by Day, Dancing Diva by Night! 💃🏽✨

By day, Monica keeps things organized, handles the chaos, and works in Emergency Management. But when the workday is over, she swaps her emergency-management hat for her dancing shoes and turns up the music, energy, and fun! 🎶🔥

Monica has been a licensed Zumba® Instructor for 14 years and has also been certified in Xtreme Hip Hop Step for several years. You can find her bringing the party to the Aiken County Family Y every Wednesday and Thursday night, where her classes are all about movement, music, and having a GREAT time!

For Monica, fitness is about so much more than working up a sweat. Her passion is creating a space where EVERYONE feels welcome, confident, empowered, and free to let loose!💜 Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone who thinks you have two left feet, Monica wants you to come as you are, turn up the music, and enjoy the ride.

So, if you’re looking for a workout with big energy, good vibes, infectious music, and a whole lot of FUN, Monica’s class is the place to be!💃🏽🔥
