Ty Burgess won Round 1 at the Ote Berry’s Junior Steer Wrestling World Championship today with a 3.8-second run. It paid $2,500, and Ty also was awarded the JD Hebert Memorial Benchmark in honor of a special young Louisiana cowboy who left this world way too soon.
