Lake Washington Half

Hello Runners - we have been promising you some great news with both Lake Sammamish Half and Lake Washington Half. After much thought I have decided to sell both of the Lake Races to Porter and Ashley with their amazing Orca Running Team! As of the 2021 season both Lake Sammamish Half and Lake Washington Half are part of the amazing Orca racing family. I have been approached by several race directors over the years, however when the time came it was no question that these two races belong with the Orca racing family. Porter and Ashley have an amazing team, and working with them over the years I've seen how much effort they put into making their races an experience to remember. Please welcome the Orca Running team to the Lake Races family, they will do an amazing job for everyone!
It's been an honor putting on these races for you all over the years, and I look forward to seeing them both grow with the Orca team!

REGISTRATION OPENS FEB 1st!

Hello Runners -

This is not the post I wanted to make, I would much rather be showing you the new shirts, bibs and medals for the Lake Washington Half.

Safety is always our first and foremost priority for our races, our runners, volunteers, sponsors, family support and staff must come first at all times.. So after much thought, and after Governor Inslee's last decision to take Washington State back on the phases. I have decided to cancel the 2020 Lake Washington half.

For those of you who have already preregistered you will be getting an email in the next couple of days with instructions. I am sure some of you have questions, please wait until after the email has come before emailing, as you can imagine I get a lot of emails and always do my best to respond but it does take a while and emails sometimes get lost in the mix.

It takes a great deal of planning, and ordering swag that occurs months before the race even happens. We are already planning for 2021 and are very EXCITED to be releasing some great news for the coming years for Lake Washington Half - keep an eye out for your newsletter and facebook posts in the next couple of weeks.
