3 years ago today, we said goodbye to PWCS Wrestling.
For the unaware, Pro Wrestling Championship Series was a concept promotion. "What if pro wrestling was approached as a team sport?"
Four teams battled in what was essentially a round robin tournament. Two teams with the best record faced off at the Mega Ticket in a 4 vs 4 elimination match to crown that year's champion.
Sometimes I'm bitter. Sometimes I'm angry. Sometimes I miss it.
But most of the time, I'm extremely happy to have lived my dream of running a promotion for 6 years. People have had more money and resources and closed in a lot less time. Some people never drew the crowds we did, booked the talent we did, or told the stories we told.
I'm so proud of the run.
Tomorrow is my birthday. The best present you can give me is to fire up IWTV and watch an event. I truly believe all but one (you decide which hahaha) hold up today.
🏆 Long live the cup 🏆
