Great job this weekend with our crew at the Vacaville seasonโ€™s end short course meet. WWA had multiple kids swim and continue to drop time.

Itโ€™s cool to see our athletes progressing and continuing to find success with positivity. Kids coming out smiling after an awesome race is the greatest joy for us as a club.
HUGE shout out for Coach Michael commanding the weekend and helping those kids get through the weekend.

Another great weekend in the books for !! Lana and Tessa came in to their first SWAGR meet and definitely saw some success. It was a challenging weekend as they trained through the week with no rest going into the meet. Yet still they both saw multiple time drops in their events through out the weekend.
๐ŸŒŠ
Highlight Swims :
- Lana A. | 100 IM. Seeded 6th going in and comes out with a 3rd place finish. The best part of this race was the discipline she showed in sticking with the techniques weโ€™ve worked because itโ€™s whats needed to be better - not just because its easy.
- Tessa G. | 100 Fly. Only making the event as a bonus cut, she had a long shot to make the finals. On the third day of the meet, she goes and drops 5 seconds from her best time she did 2 weeks ago at JOโ€™s. I am not sure if there is a stat out there but I donโ€™t think anyone at this SWAGR meet has ever gone from barely making a bonus cut to making Finals! Then again, whats the stat for dropping 10 seconds in 2 weeks on your best event?!
๐ŸŒŠ
Happy for these two and everything they are accomplishing. We canโ€™t wait to get more kids swimming fast and getting themselves to this meet. Itโ€™s a fun one that sees teams from all different states such as Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Southern CA, Vegas, and Oregon. Thank you for hosting the meet. It was awesome!

These 3 were stars โœจ this past weekend. For their very first championship meet, all 3 girls (Paige, Lana, and Tessa) came in and left a huge mark on this meet.
๐ŸŒŠ
- Paige (9) : Only slated to make it in 2 Finals (top 10) all weekend, swims her heart out and makes five Top 10 finishes through out the weekend with best times in 6 out of her 7 of her events.
โญ๏ธ Swim of the Meet : 500 Free, was seeded 13th and finished 5th with a 38 second time drop. She crushed her swim and got the bell rang for her. ๐Ÿ””
- Lana (10) : Came in and showed she is ready to be a player in the SNS. Seeded top 8 going in to all of her events, Lana showed up and performed all weekend including an event win and 6th overall point totals for 10U girls.
โญ๏ธ Swim of the Meet : 100 Fly, hands down the come back swim of the weekend. Was a body length and a half behind at the 75 and came back to win the event. [ Watch our last IG post ]
Tessa (11) : Going in with the toughest road to make a Final didnโ€™t stop her from crushing the meet. She had a ton of time drops all weekend and got herself into 2 Finals heats.
โญ๏ธ Swim of the Meet : 50 Fly, was seeded 12th and came out with a Bronze Medal. This event proved for Tessa to realize she was one of the faster underwater swimmers at the meet. From the outside into a podium finish, cant ask for more.
๐ŸŒŠ
It was a meet that required a lot of learning, mental fortitude, and resilience for these 3 and the club couldnโ€™t be happier for everything they achieved all weekend. WWA is so proud of them!
