So proud of Cooper!!!!! Congratulations

📣Congratulations to this weeks golfer 12 year old Cooper Barr from Granite Bay Golf Club in Granite Bay, California!

Cooper was nominated by his coach Meredith Lobeck. She had this to say, "In a years time Cooper has passed 5 levels and now is playing from the tee box. He practices daily and make the golf swing look so easy. As a left handed golfer, he has the passion and drive to pass from that tee box in no time. Cooper not only is thriving on the course, but his education is very important to him. He is always researching new equipment and has even designed and built a putter out of wood. Cooper LOVES golf and everything that it provides." ⁠

She continued, "Cooper passed every level but one on the first try. His drive and confidence is contagious. He stays level headed and is always planning how he is going to get the ball into the hole. His positive attitude continues to drive him to achieving his goals. He wants to play for his high school next season and with his awesome swing, maybe even college and beyond!"

Way to go Cooper! We can see that your passion for the game of golf is going to take you places! We wish you the best and look forward to seeing your continued success on the golf course.

This game is humbling. Please watch and show to your kids!!!!

Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, two of the best golfers on the planet, repeatedly tried to make an ace on a 148-yard hole. Their chase is worth a watch.

Such a fun day to be outside learning about golf!!!! We have our Academy class and PGA Jr League that started this week. These kids live this game.
