What will it consist of?
Being that the name is BLACKLAND BUILT
I think it’s fitting that two of our main exercises are variations of Farmer’s carry and Tractor Tire flips (tractor tires come in all shapes and sizes: we can and will find one that suits your current fitness level) as well as sled pushes, sled drags, battle/fitness rope, etc… we will Focus on GPP (General Physical Preparedness) I.E. things that will make you harder to kill. And while that sounds really intense… reality is these movements are extremely easy when loaded/performed correctly, BUT pack a huge punch in terms of results. How hard you push is up to you.
For me personally (a person who has lifting experience) this is a secondary workout in addition to weights; it’s that conditioning and hypertrophy that really brings the muscle out and sets me up for greater strength gains. To a beginner a workout like this will be their bread and butter. It is the best way to start a workout plan in my opinion. It preps you for all forms of exercise.

What should I bring?
Gloves, Yoga mat/pad, and Water. All other equipment will be furnished.

Why should I show up?
I’m glad you asked =

#1 You are the Hero of your Story; Luke Sky Walker if you will. There are goals you are trying to achieve; places you want to go; people who need you. You’re the Hero.. get built like one. If you want to get in shape for Summer, it starts now.

#2 There is not a single person reading this who doesn’t think they could be in better shape; whether that be to look better, feel better, or simply to improve health. I think we can all agree we should be working out in some capacity. Now what are the biggest complaints when it comes to working out? Cost, Convenience/Time, and not wanting to be judged by others. We take care of all those here: it’s Free, it’s convenient, it’s 30-45 minutes…. Less time than an episode of Yellow Stone. You’ll be back home in your jammies by 8pm.
As far as not wanting to be judged: the exercise selection is intentional, extremely low barrier to entry, with little to no learning curve. Every one who shows up is there to get better. We all start at different levels but have similar goals. Don’t over think it. This stuff can be done in boots and jeans if that’s your preferred attire.

#3 Every Hero needs a Guide: someone with a plan; a course of action; someone to help the Hero save the Day. That’s me. I’m the Yoda to your Luke Skywalker. I facilitate, you put the work in and get the glory/results . I show you the Force.

#4 There is a tragic ending that we are all tying to avoid. What’s at stake for you if you don’t start working out/get in better shape? Only you can answer that.

#5 I don’t need to explain how much getting in shape will change your life. You already know that deep down.
