Team Hendy Wrestling is starting it's new season at the Godfrey Lee ECC and the Elementary on Wednesday, October 24th. In addition, Tuesday and Thursdays at the gym from 6 PM to 8 PM. We are accepting kids from 4 years old to 12 years old and will be taught by Coach Michael Henderson who has more than 40 years of coaching wrestling and football and who is also a resident of the neighborhood. He is a two time state champion in the state of New York while growing up and still holds records in Track and Field in his former high school. Last year, he started a team with kids from the Godfrey Lee Elementary that several went on to qualify for the MYWAY (Michigan Youth Wrestling Association) State including a Middle School female wrestler. Teamhendy is canceling early registration on Tuesday 24th/ Thursday 26 th. We start our first practice on November 2 nd on Thursday and I will collect registration for the season. Any questions please message me.
