Good luck to all of the youth hunters this weekend! 🦃

The 2025 youth turkey hunt starts this weekend. Take this chance to teach or learn turkey hunting techniques and spark the excitement of springtime hunting in the next generation.

Youth hunters must possess a spring turkey license, a wild turkey stamp, a valid harvest authorization and may harvest a single turkey for the 2025 season.

Turkeys can be elusive, so don't be discouraged if your youth hunter doesn’t fill their harvest authorization. It’s still valid for the regular turkey season.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the NWTF!

What better way to put a ribbon on another successful year of conserving the wild turkey and preserving our hunting heritage than remembering our impactful accomplishments this holiday season with family and friends. From launching new conservation initiatives, creating the first-ever NWTF endowed university professorship and so much more — 2024 was a year of opening new doors, pushing boundaries and positioning the NWTF for long-term success.

Here is a lookback at our 2024 milestones. https://www.nwtf.org/content-hub/2024-a-year-in-review

This success is thanks to the many volunteers, partners and supporters who help us deliver our mission and unite a nation through the life-changing power of the outdoors.

As we look toward 2025 and all the exciting plans we have, let us celebrate Christmas and everything it represents.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, family flock!

Yours in Conservation,

Jason and Kurt
