It was an exciting and exhilarating Ranger 22 Race back to Fairport Harbor this past Tuesday evening, returning from the weekend’s CLYC June JAM+ regatta. After skirting pop-up showers with some extremely strong and shifting winds, we were greeted at the harbor with a double rainbow and a beautiful sunset.

🧢 Help design the official hat for the 2026 GRSC Regatta! 🧢
Grand River Sailing Club is inviting sailors, artists, friends, family, and creative crew members to submit a design for this year’s official regatta hat!
You do not have to be a GRSC member, and you do not have to attend the regatta to participate. Anyone can submit a design, and anyone can vote once voting opens!
🖊 Submit your design: June 13–July 3
🗳 Voting open: July 5–19
💙 Each vote is $1, and proceeds benefit the Fairport Harbor Food Pantry.
The winning design will be used for the official 2026 GRSC Regatta hat!

⛵ The first CSA Counter Regatta of the season is in the books! 🌊🏁

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip to Chagrin Lagoons Yacht Club for a fantastic weekend of racing. It was great to see boats from clubs across Lake and Cuyahoga counties competing on the water as the 2026 CSA season officially got underway.

Congrats to Minx’s own Pieter Wiemken, who hopped on a Hunter 707 for the Kelpie Cup at Port Edgar Yacht Club (PEYC) on the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh, Scotland. Pieter represented GRSC well! His team ended up winning first overall and taking the Kelpie Cup!
