Registration is open for the 15th annual Dirty Duel trail race on Nov. 14, quite possibly the toughest 5K you ever do. Pick the “Long & Difficult” 3.4 mile trail and cornfield course or the “Short & Brutal” 3.1 mile trail with a little sand dune and off-trail mayhem, both timed to finish at the same time – pick your poison! Thanks for the feedback on the race. You gave us the best ratings we've ever received. Glad it was a great day. It takes a village. Thanks to our amazing volunteers, Epic Race Timing, PT Sports PRO, Jamie Geysbeek Photography, sponsors, Kent County Sheriff, Kent County Parks, Team World Vision Grand Rapids, and Robinette's for partnering with us. For some of you, this race was a piece of cake, despite the difficult course. For others of you, this was a culmination of lots of miles of training over the past months. Finishing was a really big deal. We hope that this is a stepping stone to something bigger in your life. Maybe it's a longer race, maybe it's courage to make a change in your life outside of running. Persevere. Grow. Take that next step!

All that really matters is you showed up and finished (everyone finished!), but we also like to recognize top performances. Congrats to Todd Buckingham (course record), Erin Kunst, Joe Phillips (masters), and Karen Vis (masters) for their overall wins and for all the age group finishers as well.
