Perham 2026 was one for the books. I’m incredibly grateful for my family and friends—this winter was a wild ride, and I’m blessed to have such an amazing support system.

We ended up taking 1st in the perch class and four 3rd-place finishes at Nationals. And I truly mean we—this wasn’t just me, this was a team effort. Without my amazing wife and some great guys by my side, I wouldn’t have competed this year.

Thank you to everyone who reached out and said a prayer for my dad. It means more than you know.

Sneak peak at the first cutthroat trout I’ve made. I had a blast making this fish and it pushed me to make one of my best fish to date. Come on out to “The Gathering” at the PACC in Perham this Saturday. 150 tables of awesomeness. Hope to see you there!

I finally decided to compete with the big boys at “The Gathering” in Perham, MN. I was blessed to receive a blue ribbon in the nationals against some amazing carvers. Here are my entries for this year’s competition; it has pushed me to make my best fish decoys to date. Thank you all for an amazing weekend.

This product is a collaborative fish decoy made by Tradewell and Wabana Creek Spearing Decoys for ice fishing. The decoy is shaped like a chub type minnow. It is just around 4 inches. It is the 1st collaborative decoy between the 2 carvers.
