Oakdale Community Bikes a free, do-it-yourself, non-profit community bicycle shop in Grand Rapids, MI. How can you be involved? You can work on your own bike.

Boston Square Community Bikes is promoting sustainable affordable transportation by providing space for individuals to repair their own bikes, teaching bicycle riding and repair skills, repairing bikes and selling basic parts and supplies for bike commuters, and refurbishing donated bicycles for sale. We will help you learn how to maintain or repair your bike. You can purchase a bike or bike parts

from the shop. You can volunteer as a bike mechanic or in other ways. You can apply for a part-time, paid mechanic position. You can donate money or bikes to the program. You can hang out and talk about bikes.

Spring is still trying to spring, but Oakdale Community Bikes is springing ahead to our summer season.
We've accumulated and refurbished a lot used bikes over the winter. And now we need to make room for more, so come check out our great deals on quality refurbished bikes.
Or maybe your bike just needs a tune up. We do that for you starting at $40, or you can tinker with it yourself in our "do-it-yourself" shop where we have lots of quality used parts, bike shop tools, and skilled mechanics to assist you.
So grab your bike, roll up your sleeves and get your bikes rolling again.
