Give BestRaces a follow. A new race platform that helps get the word out about your great event. It's such a young company that we're listed as #2 race in Michigan. While we're biased, that's pretty cool.

They'll be giving away two entries to Res Run through their socials. And if you want to go do a destination turkey trot, you may have a chance to win!

Giveaway: two free entries to the 47th Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot.

It's Thanksgiving morning, November 26, in Clearwater, Florida, and it's No. 2 in our Florida rankings.

To enter, tap the link in our bio, add your email, and confirm it from your inbox. One entry per person. Open to U.S. residents 18 and older.

Entries close October 19. We'll draw two winners at random on October 20.

Thanks to the City of Clearwater for donating the entries. Giveaways never affect our rankings.

GRIFF IS BACK! 🏒❄️

One of our favorite Resolution Run traditions is returning for the Kids Run!

Griff from the Grand Rapids Griffins will be back at Reeds Lake on New Year's Eve to help our youngest runners kick off their race — and judging by this photo, he takes his starting-line duties pretty seriously.

Kids Run • 1:30 PM (.5 miles-ish)
Bring the kids. We'll supply the Beanies and Disco Balls.
Griff will be handing out High Fives!

ONE LAST RUN. Even for the little ones.

09/21/2026

Since 1982, runners and walkers have been gathering in East Grand Rapids on New Year's Eve for one last trip around Reeds Lake.

Some years there's a lot of snow. Some years you all are showing up in shorts. Some years, we get all four seasons in four miles.
But you ALWAYS show up!

The 44th Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run returns December 31.

Kids Run at 1:30 PM.
Four Mile at 2:00 PM.
One Last Run of 2026.

In keeping with Resolution Run tradition, every finisher of the 44th Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run will take home our signature snowflake medal.

Our friends at GoPodium just sent us this first glimpse while it’s still in production, and we couldn’t wait to share it. More updates as we get them.

We ordered 1,000 of these. Once they’re spoken for, they’re spoken for.

3.5 inches of snowflake waiting for you at the finish line on New Year’s Eve!
