🎓🔥 Davenport University — Athletic Scholarships for Ultimate Frisbee 🔥🎓

Looking for an undergraduate or master’s degree and want to keep competing at a high level? Davenport University offers one of the most supported programs in college Ultimate.

Our roster includes 7 athletes who play professionally, athletes from 4 different countries, and a strong mix of undergraduate and graduate students.

Davenport Ultimate is a fully supported program — athletic scholarships for Ultimate, travel covered, coach buses, cleats, bid fees, meals, strength training, athletic trainers, and a full coaching staff.

We’re hosting a virtual recruit session, or you’re welcome to come visit campus and join us for a practice. If the times below don’t work, I’m happy to set up a one-on-one conversation.

Ultimate Frisbee Athletic Scholarships to University in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

Davenport University Ultimate Frisbee wants you to consider getting a great education and an athletic scholarship to play Ultimate Frisbee. We are hosting 4 virtual Open Houses to learn about the Ultimate Frisbee team, get to know the coaches, and discuss degree options at the University. We are open to all grades Undergraduate and Graduate students.

This team is like no other in the nation. We started with the goal to treat athlete's with the dignity and respect they deserve. Meaning, all tournament bid fees, travel, hotels, gas, etc are covered. We have personal trainers, athletic trainers, use of ice baths, and so much more. Two full time coaches, assistant coaches, and excellent facilities. Simply put, we are treated just like every Varsity sport and get to use the facilities just like every other team.

The team is made up of athletes from around the world representing 5 different countries.

The athletic scholarship is a great bonus on top of an already stellar offering.

Davenport University is a Division 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan with the focus on Business, Health, Education, Technology, and Art + Sciences.

Nairobi, Kenya → Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. Our first ever commitment from Kenya! He’s coming to Davenport University on an athletic scholarship to play Ultimate Frisbee. We are so grateful to have him!

Milton comes to us with six years experience playing, coaching, and building a passion for this sport. He caught our attention with his highlight reel and won us over with his passion, character, and determination.

These next four years are going to be better with Milton on our team.

Fort Wayne, Indiana -> Grand Rapids, Michigan! Jacob Felton has accepted an athletic scholarship to play Ultimate Frisbee at Davenport University.

This is a big day for us! We are thrilled to have Jacob committing to further his academic studies and Ultimate Frisbee career with us.

Jacob currently plays for for TRUC, Three Rivers Ultimate Club, a Mixed adult club team based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

We are in beautiful Colorado at the USA Ultimate Organizer’s Convention.
We get the chance to tell our story and connect with the people who coach youth players. It’s wild to hear so many organizers around the country envious of our program.

Davenport University Ultimate Frisbee Signing # 1 for the Men's Team!

Thrilled to announce the signing of Aidan Williams to our 2023-2024 Ultimate Frisbee roster. Aidan has agreed to receive an Ultimate Frisbee Athletic Scholarship to attend Davenport University and play on TEAM ONE starting Fall 2023. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Aidan will be pursuing a degree in Business at Davenport University.

Aidan's Ultimate Frisbee career began when he was recruited by Coach Zaags, our Men's Head Coach, in his 8th grade PE class. He went on to play 4 years for the Grand Rapids White Lightning High School team and capped off an impressive high school career with a State Championship in 2022.

It's clear that Aidan has the skillset, culture, enthusiasm, and leadership to help take Davenport to the national stage.
If he stays on track with his degree program, he will have spent a total of 8 years playing under Coach Zaags' leadership. Let’s go DUU!
