It’s with a heavy… but incredibly full heart that I post the last tournament update for this group as these girls move onto their next chapter.

These girls lost in a 1-0 nail biter to a great (eventual tourney champion) Motor City team in the semi finals.

They went 3-2 on the weekend only giving up 5 runs in 5 games as our pitching and defense continued its summer of dominance.

This is the end of the summer and the end of an era as many of these girls have been on this team since they were 11 years old.

Thank you to all of the faminly, friends, fans, parents and coaches that have made this such an incredible run while these girls grew up.

8-0 win on 10 hits, great pitching and lock down defense. On to the semis tomorrow at 9:50AM.

Congratulations to Jordan Empie on her 100th strikeout of the summer in just under 70 innings pitched.

It’s be such a privilege to watch you grow over the years, Jordan. So proud of you!

Congratulations to our Junior Pitcher, Jordan Empie on 2 big milestones today. She surpassed 100 strikeouts for the season, and she also went over the 300 strikeout mark for her career. Great work Jordan!
