Your golf swing could land you in a commercial! 🏌️

A commercial filming at Prairie Lakes Golf Course is looking for above-average golfers of all ages to appear on camera.

📅 Filming will take place Monday, June 8, and Tuesday, June 9, with afternoon (1–5 p.m.) and evening (5–10 p.m.) time slots available.

💵 Selected participants will receive $200 for their time.

Prairie Lakes Golf Course is proud to host the Texas Golf Association Adaptive Golfer Clinic on Tuesday, May 12, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. led by PGA Master Teaching Professional Alan Rasberry. ⛳

Participants will spend the afternoon on the practice range building skills, confidence, and community through the game of golf.

This clinic is held in conjunction with the 2026 Texas Adaptive Golf Championship, returning to Prairie Lakes Golf Course on October 20–21.

We’re honored that Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation and Prairie Lakes will host this impactful championship for the second consecutive year.

Due to forecasted winter weather, Prairie Lakes Golf Course will close beginning Thursday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. and remain closed until at least Monday, January 26, while the greens are covered. ⛳️

The Pro Shop will remain open 7 a.m.–3 p.m. during this time for phone calls and merchandise purchases.

🏌️‍♂️ The City of Grand Prairie is proud to announce that Prairie Lakes will host the 2025 Texas Adaptive Golf Championship, taking place October 20–22! ⛳

This inspiring event comes through a new partnership between Grand Prairie and the Texas Golf Association (TGA) — expanding access to adaptive golf programs for individuals of all ages with physical, cognitive, or sensory impairments.

In addition to hosting the championship, Prairie Lakes also welcomed two complimentary TGA Adaptive Golf Clinics, helping new and experienced golfers alike connect with the game.
