🏹 It’s Not Too Late for a 2026 Colorado Archery Elk Hunt! 🏹

Due to a couple of cancellations, I have a few last-minute September archery hunt openings available at discounted rates.

The best part? No draw is required. These elk tags are available on Colorado’s leftover list, so you can still pick up a tag and hunt this season.

Available Hunts
🏹 Semi-Guided Elk Hunt: September 8–12
🏹 Fully Guided Elk Hunt: September 14–18

These are 5-day wall tent hunts in an ATV-accessible unit, with all meals and lodging included, so all you have to do is get your tag and show up ready to hunt.

I also have one 1x1 Fully Guided Mule Deer Voucher Hunt still available this season.

If you’ve been wanting to experience a Colorado elk hunt but thought you missed your chance, this is a great opportunity. These openings are limited and are only available because of recent cancellations.

Meet the Guides Part 2: Conner

Even though he looks like a ripped California surfer dude, don’t let that fool you. He’s an elk killing and trapping mountain man machine!

“Born in raised in elk country Colorado, I’ve built my life around my passion for the outdoors. I live in a remote cabin surrounded by National Forest eating game meat, drinking from my spring, and heating myself and my dog with firewood. I hunted and/or trapped 165 days last year and I run a one man remodel business during summer and the off season. Wildlife is at the core of who I am and I have a deep love & respect for the hardy, majestic game & fish species we are blessed enough to pursuit.”

Meet The Guides Part 1: Clayton

Born and raised in Gypsum, Colorado, I’m a proud 5th-generation Coloradan with deep roots in the Western hunting tradition. At 26 years old, I’ve built my life around the outdoors, hunting and fishing aren’t just hobbies to me, they’re a way of life.

I’ve had a bow in my hand since I was 4 years old, learning early the discipline, patience, and respect that come with pursuing game the right way. That lifelong passion led me to earn a degree in Wildlife Biology, giving me not only hands-on experience in the field but also a scientific understanding of wildlife behavior, habitat management, and conservation.

Whether I’m chasing elk in the high country, calling turkeys in the spring, or spending time on the water, I’m committed to ethical hunting, conservation, and passing on the traditions that shaped me. My goal is simple to share my knowledge, work hard for every opportunity, and help others experience the same passion for the outdoors that’s driven me my entire life.

These hunts take place on National Forest (NFS) land in Unit 421.
