Honoring the Legacy of Captain John McEnaney ⚓️💙

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved founder, John McEnaney. John was the heart and soul of Riptide Charters & Superior Marine Brokerage, and his passion for the water was evident to everyone who stepped aboard with him.

Because of this great loss, Riptide Charters will no longer be booking future charters.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our clients, friends, and fellow anglers. Thank you for the wonderful times, the shared stories, and the many memories made out on the waves. Whether it was a sunrise departure or a successful day of fishing, your support meant the world to John and to our family.

John’s greatest wish was to share the beauty and majesty of the Big Lake with others. As we navigate this difficult time, our hope is that you continue to find as much joy, peace, and adventure on Lake Superior as John did throughout his life.

Fair winds and following seas, Captain. You will be deeply missed.
