The Western Star is a solo canoe offering elegant lines and a beautiful combination of natural wood species that immediately catch the eye. The strip-built construction features Northern White Cedar and California Redwood in the hull and deck. Black Walnut has been used for seat and thwart/backrest as well as in the chevrons of the color strips. The gunnels are built from sturdy Michigan sourced Red Oak.

Come on over to the Pentwater Yacht Club on Saturday for their classic wooden boat show. Mackinaw Watercraft, LLC will be there with the last Allen Deming made boats for sale along with paddles and a new batch of picnic hampers.
