Parents Weekend was one for the books 🙌

Watching our athletes train side-by-side with their biggest supporters was something special. The energy, the laughs, the competition… and yes, the sore legs the next day 😅

We are so grateful for the parents who showed up, worked hard, and experienced firsthand what training at YAP is all about. Thank you for trusting us with your athletes and for being such a huge part of this community.

And a BIG shoutout to Coach Alli for putting in that extra work on everyone’s sled pushes 💪 No one was coasting on her watch!

Lower Body Day at YAP 👊🏼

This is what training with intention looks like.

We don’t just “lift weights.” We build athletes from the ground up.

🔹 Dynamic Warm-Up
We start by priming the body — mobility, activation, and movement prep so our athletes are ready to move efficiently and safely.

🔹 Plyometric Training
Explosive jumps and bounds to develop power and force production. This is where we train elasticity and reactivity.

🔹 Speed Training
Acceleration mechanics, sprint work, and change of direction. Because strength without speed doesn’t transfer.

🔹 Main Lift of the Day
This is our primary strength focus — building force through compound lower body movements with great technique and intent.

🔹 Accessory Work
We finish by strengthening the details: hamstrings, glutes, core, and single-leg stability to bulletproof our athletes and reduce injury risk.

Every piece has a purpose.
