There is $1.25 per person per match fee that goes in the board. Additional $1.25 per team if you reach the rubber match. The three bars (The Brass Rail, Wrigley Field and Scallywags) also matches half the entry fees (so if we have 14 people, the bar will add an extra $70 to the entry fee pot). We also have two other ways you can win money: MYSTERY OUT and SHANGHI. MYSTERY OUT:
It is $1.00 entry p
er person per tournament that you choose to participate in. As each out is hit during an 01 game, the person that took the number out has their name written next to that number on our sheet. Once a number is hit, nobody else can take credit for that number. At the beginning of the next tournament that we had an 01 game, we will draw a number, if your name is next to that number you win. The sign up sheets carry over, as well as the money until a persons number is chosen. If you were playing in the tournament the week before and your name is pulled, you win 100% off the pot. If you were not present the week before, you win 10% off the pot and the remainder rolls over. SHANGHI:
It is $1.00 per ticket. You can choose to purchase 1 or 20, depends on how many entries you want in the drawing. This game is separate from the tournament. When the sign ups are completed, we draw one name out of the tickets. (all remaining tickets are discarded for that week) The lucky person will have a chance to play for Shanghi pot. They will choose a chip out of the bag with number 1-20 written on them. At that time they will choose a board of their choice. They will need to shoot for their number in this order. Single, Double, Triple. If they succeed in doing this they will get 100% of the pot. Here is the breakdown. If they only hit the single, they get 20% of the pot, if they hit the single and double they get an additional 30% of the pot for a total of 50%. If they hit all three then it is 100% payout. The first dart must hit the single number (no other hits will count) if it is hit then proceed to the double, if missed then the second dart must hit the single. If the first dart misses and the second dart hits the single, then the third dart must go for the double and so on. They must be hit in order. There is no reshoots for a bounced out dart. It is considered a miss. All monies that have not been paid out will carry over to the next week. Throwers do not have to enter all or any of the events, it's up to them.
