CB Index 2.0 is live, and 2026 CB Masters entries open this Wednesday.

After analyzing a full season of data across 480+ bowler profiles and listening to your feedback, we've updated our rating system to make division cuts and handicaps as fair as possible:

CB Index 2.0: Shifted to an Olympic Drop model (trimming the 3 highest and 3 lowest games of your last 30) to eliminate hot-streak inflation and capture your true median skill.

Under Division Cutoff: Recalibrated to -3.0 or lower, matching the 199 USBC conversion rule directly.

Handicap Parity: Placeholder averages now calculate off the tour's true 185 tournament scratch baseline.

2026 CB Masters Registration:
Member entries open Wednesday at 9:00 AM MTN for the Masters at Sparetime Lanes (Oct 30 – Nov 1). First place is guaranteed at $5,000.

Reminder: 2026–2027 tour memberships are open for renewal now. You must be renewed prior to bowling your first event to earn season points toward the Championship Ring and points fund.

The 2026 CB Masters is officially set for October 30th – November 1st at Sparetime Lanes in Roy, Utah!

We are hard at work behind the scenes finalizing all the details, updating the tour website, and getting everything ready for the upcoming season’s memberships.
