The Westridge Football Coaching Staff is excited for the upcoming season! Here are a few important early dates to know:

Equipment Check-Out on Wrestling Desk
-8th Grade at 3:45
-7th Grade at 4:15

Thursday, August 14
First Practice
-Ends at 5:15. Please being cleats and tennis shoes each day as warm weather might impact our practices.

Thursday, August 14
Football Parent Meeting
-Starts at 5:15.

Friday, August 15
Second Practice
-Ends at 5:00. Bring cleats and tennis shoes.

Also, all players must have a physical turned into the office in order to participate school sports. Looking forward to a successful season with our players and coaching staff!

When: Friday, October 18 at 5:30
Where: Enter Door #1 (West Entrance); Meet in the Commons Area
What: Get a great behind-the-scenes look at the high school football experience!
--5:30-7:00 | Pizza, tour, talk with current players and coaches.
--7:00 | Watch the Islanders take on Bellevue East with coaches and teammates!

The bus for players will leave Westridge at 3:30 pm and return to Westridge following the A Game.

- Players should arrive no later than 3:15 pm

- B Game: 4 x 8 min. quarters (subject to change)
- A Game: 4 x 8 min. quarters

Thursday, 10.10.24
Westridge plays @ Hastings Middle School 4;15 pm

The bus for players will leave Westridge at 3:00 pm and return to Westridge following the A game.

- Players may arrive at Westridge as early as 2 pm.

- B Game (no set format)
- A Game 4 x 8 min. quarters

B Team fought back for 24-6 win.
A Team pushed through adversity, lost 6-8.

The 7th grade Westridge Football Team will play Columbus at Westridge Middle School at 4:15 p.m. The B game will be first (format to be determined), followed by the A game.

A late note of gratitude for the crowd who supported and celebrated the 7th-grade Cougars in B and A game wins against Barr last week. An earned and appreciated win.
