⚾️ WHAT A RIDE FOR OUR JUNIOR REGIONAL TEAM! ⚾️
We couldn't be prouder of this incredible group of kids and everything they accomplished at Regionals! They went out there, competed with heart, and proved they belong on the big stage.Here’s a quick look at how the tournament unfolded:
Game 1 vs. Ohio (W 10-7): Started off strong with a huge 10-7 victory!
Game 2 vs. Michigan (L 4-5): A total heartbreaker, losing by just one run. Michigan had to play the game of their lives and burn their best pitchers just to get past us (which cost them dearly in their next two games!).
Game 3 vs. Wisconsin (L 5-11): We fought until the very end. We were holding a 5-4 lead in the top of the 7th with a real chance to put it away, but a tough error shifted the momentum and the game got away from us. Credit to Wisconsin—they went on to take 2nd place overall in the tournament!
While the scoreboard didn't go our way every game, the fight, grit, and sportsmanship these kids showed was second to none.
