The historic Grand Theatre presents the Grand Comic Fest 5, a celebration of all things pop culture and nerdy. We are assembling some of the best celebrity guests, pocasters, vendors and creators from all from all over the country into one family friendly event at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center on the Fonner Park Fairgounds.
Join us for opening ceremonies at the Grand Theatre, April 21st, 2023 for a free showing of the Mel Brooks classic, “Spaceballs.” Doors open at 6:00 PM, event starts at 7:00.
The real fun begins on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM when we kick off our two days of excitement. There will be informative panels by guests from television and film, sword fighting, vendors and comic book creators. Plenty to choose from to fill two days of excitement.
Another free event will be hosted Saturday night at the Grand Theatre, where we will show the Grand of Thrones documentary “The Last Watch,” followed by a Q&A with guests from Game of Thrones.
Come back Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM for our annual cosplay contest and live professional wrestling.
Tickets are only $10.00 per day or $15.00 for a weekend pass. Kids 12 and under are free!
