What a weekend. Three events, three podium finishes, and a lot to be thankful for. 🏓❤️
🥇 Friday Night Lights Andrea Remynse Koop
It was an absolute privilege to finally share the court with one of the best to ever do it. Andrea and I have known each other for nearly 10 years, and getting the opportunity to compete alongside her was an experience I don’t take for granted. I have a tremendous amount of respect for what she has accomplished in this sport, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to compete together and for the friendship we’ve built over the years.

There’s something special about being on the same side of the court with people you trust and enjoy competing with. To be able to do it in my home environment, surrounded by family, friends, students, and so many familiar faces, made the experience even better. Definitely one of those nights I’ll remember for a long time.

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out the weekend. Ben, I’ve really enjoyed the friendship we’ve built and the chemistry we’ve developed on the court. There’s something unique about our partnership — we compete hard, trust each other, and have a lot of fun doing it. I’ve loved going into battle with you and getting to share some great moments on the court together. Ending this one with a gold was pretty special.
Not looking forward to you heading back to Germany…but I’m not crying. 😭😂

More than anything, weekends like this remind me that the medals are great, but the relationships, experiences, and people I get to share them with are what make this sport so special. Pickleball is family and I’m very grateful for that ❤️
