Swim North Dakota A swim lesson program that is open to the GENERAL PUBLIC. Children 4 years and up. Swim North Dakota is open to the GENERAL PUBLIC.

Children 4 years old and up from beginner to advanced swimming skills can be part of the program. Swim North Dakota uses a station method of teaching with a small student to instructor ratio. Student/teacher ratio will vary from 2:1 to 10:1 depending on the level of instruction and popularity of the class time. They will advance through the different swimming levels, as the child's swimming skills

improve. Registration must be done by mail with the given application or in person. We DO NOT send out confirmations so please show up at your selected class session. Upon receiving your application and if your choice class is full, we will notify you and have you select another time or date. In case of inclement weather, classes will continue, unless UND closes campus. Location and Facilities: All lessons will be held at the Hyslop Sports Center pool. The best way to access this area is to park underneath the Columbia overpass and use the south door entrances. These will take you directly into the pool area. There are locker rooms available on the pool deck for changing. The Swim ND parking passes can only be issued to eligible participants and must be displayed while attending lessons. Only ONE Swim ND parking pass can be distributed to each registered participant. Other spectators with vehicles will have to park in the parking ramp. UND students, faculty, and staff are not eligible for a Swim ND parking pass and should use their official UND hangtag. Here is the updated registration information about options C and D. Registration will be February 5th at 10:00am. The link will be posted at 9:00am but will not be active until 10:00am. Please make sure you are only signing your child up for the level they are currently in, if they pass the current level, they will automatically be moved up. As a reminder levels 1-3 are offered every half hour and levels 4-6 are offered at 6:00pm and levels 1-7 at 6:30.

If the site crashes, then we will work on getting it back as soon as possible but know we have added a lot of additional spots so please be patient as we go through the process today.

Please see the attached, note the only sessions that will be available for registration tomorrow are options k & L. The rest will have a separate registration date. One note, with the additional levels added, parents whose children are in levels 4-7 will have to sit in the bleachers, this is done so the pool deck won't be too crowded and unsafe, your able to get them dressed and ready, but as soon as their 1/2 hour starts, we ask you please head upstairs.
