The 10,000 Shot Club challenges DCE Boys Basketball travel team players to build consistency, confidence and discipline through focused summer practice.

Congratulations to the following players who have reached the 10k milestone:
Landon Sedrak
Jackson Seamans
Braxton Sedrak
Tysen Schalow

These players have earned eligibility for Shot Club rewards, including a 10K Shot Club t-shirt, recognition at Youth Night, the opportunity to sit on the varsity bench at a home game and more. The top five shooters will also earn a spot in the 3-Point Contest against varsity players at the Midnight Madness season kickoff event.

There’s still time left in the challenge and players are continuing to climb the leaderboard. Keep shooting, keep improving + keep putting in the work!

We are incredibly proud of our student athletes for giving of their time off the court to serve a variety of causes in our greater community. Today, several of our coaches and high school athletes volunteered for the fifth year in a row for Marathon County Fill A Backpack Fill A Need. Together, they helped unload and sort large truckloads of school supplies to benefit students in need in Marathon County.

You can make a difference by supporting this amazing organization through your donation of school supplies including much needed plastic pronged folders, jumbo glue sticks and blue pens. Donations can be dropped off this week at the Central Wisconsin Convention Center at Cedar Creek.

We rounded out our final Sunrise Skills Camp this morning with another “Jersey Day.” Thank you to the parents who provided rides to the gym on those early mornings, the athletes for putting in the work, the coaches for giving of their time and the high school athletes who gave back to the next generation of Evergreens. We love to see the players who are committed to getting up early + getting better together! Athletes have another opportunity to work on their skill development at next week’s youth camp for athletes entering grades 3-8. We hope to see you there!

It was a busy Sunday for the Trees as they wrapped up their summer tournament series. One varsity squad went 1-1 on day two of June Jam, falling to Verona before bouncing back with a win over Hamilton-Sussex to finish the weekend 2-2. The other varsity Evergreens and the JV team traveled to Marathon, where varsity finished 2-1 and JV went 1-2.

The varsity Evergreens were back in action today at June Jam. The boys were 1-1 on the day with a 59-57 win over Menomonee Falls and a 54-51 OT loss to Oshkosh North. They will be back in action tomorrow against Verona + Hamilton Sussex.
