Bright Angel Bikes will we holding the annual used ebike sale beginning Monday December 16 - Monday December 23 (closed Sunday)
All bikes are sold in “as is” condition.
Prices range from $650-$500 depending on mileage and parts.

HIRING BIKE OPS MANAGER AT GRAND CANYON! We are looking for a friendly, flexible individual to manage our bike side operation at Grand Canyon. Must be a leader, able and willing to learn and use software to manage busy rental and tour day to day operations, and bring people together on a daily basis.

40 hours+ a week. Starting salary offered is $20 per hour (scaled up to match your experience if necessary) + tips. Tips are pooled from our VERY busy bike shop and cafe operation so can be considerable. Communal housing included for $75 per week including utilities. Dental insurance, shift meal, and bike for commuting also included.

Government Shut Down? WE ARE OPEN!
Please note, that in the event of a government shut down, Grand Canyon National Park and Bright Angel Bicycles will remain OPEN! For more information please visit this website to learn more about the measures Gov. Katie Hobbs announced recently.

Arizona and Utah will keep the iconic national parks in those states open if a federal government shutdown cuts off funding nationwide.

Details: Bright Angel Bicycles + Cafe operates two different styles of businesses under one roof. Bike Rentals and Cafe. Potential employees will be trained on both bicycle rental sales/service and cafe operations.
We require employees to sides frequently and in this way the job never gets old and your
season will fly by! It also serves as a great resume builder for future employers.
We are hiring the following customer service positions for the 2023-24 fall/winter/spring season
 Cashiers
 Baristas
 Expeditors
 Bike Fitters/Customer Service Bike Techs
 Reservationists
Work Week: You will be scheduled for a four or five day work week that will average between
28 and 40 hours.
Time Off: You will be given two to three days off per week. Every effort will be made to give two days back to back but is not guaranteed. One five day off may be requested to be used during slow times, i.e. mid-May thru June and mid-September thru October. Vacation requests must be requested before being hired and will not be permitted until the completion of the 60 day probation period.
Wage: $13.00-14.00/hr. This is a wage + tipped position. Tips average $2.00-$8.00 per hour on top of your hourly. Depending on volume of business, not to be guaranteed.
Housing: Bright Angel Bicycles offers in park housing. Each house is a three bedroom, two bath modular unit. Housing includes all essential accommodations: bed, dresser, access to closet, full kitchen with pots/pans/utensils, Furnished living room area (no TV or Internet access) and washer/dryer units. Internet service is limited inside the park and phone access is best if you use
Verizon or AT&T. Rent is $300 per month which includes all utilities. There& #39;s also a one
time refundable $300 housing total deposit fee collected off the first few paychecks. Deposit
will be refunded after satisfactory inspections of living quarters upon departure.
Benefits:
 Employees receive 40% in store discount on all food, bottled beverages, snack bar and
espresso bar drinks.
 Two free shift drinks (drip coffee or soda beverage).
 A 40% discount on in store merchandise after initial probation of 60 days.
 Free loaner rental bike for season use inside park.
 Free in park shuttle service on the NPS shuttle service.

Requirements Upon Hire:
 Must be 18 years old on first day of work.
 Coconino County food handlers card which may be acquired within 30 days of first day
of work.
 Completion of Bright Angel Bikes & Cafe training.
 Learn details of Grand Canyon park operations
 No criminal records
(hotels, restaurants, viewpoints, hiking info, etc.) to provide accurate information to park visitors.
