Disc Golf, Dogs, and Doing Good!
Grab your discs and leash up some fun — because this year’s Wilson’s Big Bark Open is going to be an absolute tail-waggin’ blast! 🐕💨 We’re howlin’ with excitement to announce that this year’s event is dedicated to none other than Holly Wood’s legendary best boy, Rosco D Discdog! 🥏🐶
Rosco wasn’t just a dog — he was a disc-sniffing, tail-wagging course legend and everyone’s favorite four-legged fan. ❤️ Every single dollar raised at this event will be donated in Rosco’s memory to help more animals find loving homes. So let’s throw for a cause, chase those chains, and make Rosco proud! 🐾✨
🐶 Why We Play
This event also holds a special place in our hearts because it’s played in memory of my father-in-law, Jim Wilson, who passed away in 2021. Jim was a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of three German Shepherds. After he passed, we found ourselves needing to re-home one of them — and that’s when Fenton Adopt-A-Pet came to the rescue. 🦴❤️
They helped us through an incredibly tough time, and now we’re paying it forward once again.

“Adopt-A-Pet is committed to helping people and animals in need. We hold ourselves to a high standard — one that looks out for the physical and mental well-being of our animals. Our mission is to place unwanted, adoptable animals into loving homes and reduce the number of animals euthanized in overcrowded shelters. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, and microchipped before adoption. Every adopter is carefully screened to ensure the paw-fect match.”

💸 Optional 50/50 CTP: $3 cash. Half goes to the winner, half goes to the pups.
🥏 Optional Ace Pool: $2. No aces? All the bones go straight to charity.
❤️ Entry Fees: $30 from each team’s entry fee will be donated directly to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet. $10 per player goes to cash payouts.
🦴 Division Rules
For amateur divisions, sign up for the division that matches the highest-rated player on your team. PDGA number not required! If you’re not rated, no worries — we’ll sniff things out and make sure you’re in the right spot. 🐶✅
