FLINT BOWMEN J.O.A.D. – NOW ENROLLING! 🎯

Flint Bowmen’s J.O.A.D. (Junior Olympic Archery Development) program is designed for young archers who are ready to grow, compete, and achieve.

📅 Session Begins: Wednesday, June 24, 2026

Our year-round program provides structured training in 8-week sessions, helping athletes develop strong fundamentals, competition skills, & confidence both on & off the shooting line.

🏹 What makes J.O.A.D. different?
- Small class sizes with only 28 archers per session
- Three certified coaches providing personalized instruction
- Dedicated classroom lessons covering technique, equipment knowledge, competition preparation, and athlete development
- Official pin shoot opportunities to track progress and celebrate achievement
- A positive environment focused on growth, sportsmanship, and excellence

💰Weekly Tuition
• Flint Bowmen Members: $12/week
• Non-Members: $15/week

📌 No Flint Bowmen membership or USA Archery J.O.A.D. membership is required to participate.
However, archers who are registered with USA Archery J.O.A.D. will be eligible for official achievement pins and scholarship opportunities.

To maintain the highest quality coaching experience, enrollment is limited and spots are expected to fill quickly.

Flint Bowmen invites archers of all skill levels to join us for an exciting weekend of 3D archery at the Michigan ASA State Qualifier!

Flint Bowmen’s Beginner Archery Lessons are the perfect way to learn the basics in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment!

Our instructors cover:
✔️ Archery safety
✔️ Proper bow handling
✔️ Arrow loading
✔️ Shooting fundamentals

📅 Wednesday, June 17th - anyone is welcome!

🕕 Lessons begin promptly at 6PM (arrive 15–20 minutes early to register)

📍 RSVP is REQUIRED before your lesson date

• Non-Member Child: $5

What a great evening at the Davison Festival of Flags Parade! 🇺🇸

The parade went off without a hitch, and we couldn't have done it without the support of so many amazing people.

A huge thank you to Hank Graff Davison for generously donating a truck to pull our float through the parade route. We are incredibly grateful for your support!

Thank you as well to the City of Davison DDA for doing such a wonderful job organizing another fantastic community event.

A shout out to Ben Fletcher for stopping by to get some pictures of us setting up our float before take off!

And of course, thank you to our club members who donated candy and straw and helped make our parade entry a success. Your generosity and support are what make this club so special.

Our team handed out an incredible 912 popsicles and 10 bags of candy to parade-goers along the route! 🍭🍧

We loved being part of this great community tradition and look forward to next year!🏹

🏹 Target Talk Tuesday: The Power of Volunteering

Flint Bowmen isn’t just a place to shoot arrows, it’s a community built by the people who care enough to give their time, talents, and energy.

Every target that gets repaired, every trail that gets cleared, every event that runs smoothly, every new archer who feels welcomed, and every improvement you see around the club is possible because someone volunteered.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this club.

Whether it’s helping with workdays, serving on a committee, assisting at events, maintaining ranges, fundraising, teaching, or simply lending a hand when needed, every contribution matters. No amount of time is too small. Even a few hours can make a huge difference.
