Five rounds of racing. Four results counted. Matthew Baty’s season-long consistency earned him the 2026 BME Semi-Pro Men’s Championship.

Matthew started the year with an eighth-place finish at Granby Ranch before finding another gear. He followed it with back-to-back second places at Richfield and Tamarack, keeping himself near the front of the championship as the season moved into its final rounds.

A seventh-place finish in Cedar City added another 14 points before Matthew headed to Jackson Hole with one last result to put on the board.

The final round brought eight stages of steep, technical racing and a deep Semi-Pro field. Matthew fought through the entire weekend and finished fifth, earning 16 points.

With only the best four rounds counting toward the championship, Matthew’s 13-point result from Granby Ranch became his dropped round. His two second-place finishes, seventh in Cedar City and fifth in Jackson Hole combined for 74 points.

Craig Price finished second in the championship with 47 points after putting together a ninth at Granby Ranch, third at Richfield and sixth at Cedar City.

Austin Cornacchione made a late push with a third-place finish in Cedar City and second at Jackson Hole, earning 42 points and finishing third in the championship.

Different riders won individual rounds throughout the season, but Matthew kept showing up and kept collecting points.

Second at Richfield. Second at Tamarack. Seventh at Cedar City. Fifth at Jackson Hole.

Four counting results. Seventy-four points. Twenty-seven points clear at the top.

Matthew may not have taken an individual round win, but championships are not always about winning one weekend. Sometimes they are about being there every weekend, staying in the fight and delivering when every point matters.

Matthew did exactly that.

Five rounds of racing. Four results counted. Four podiums put Brittany Van Buren on top of the 2026 BME Pro Women’s Championship.

Brittany started the season with a third-place finish at Granby Ranch. She missed Richfield, then returned with back-to-back second places at Tamarack and Cedar City. That brought her into the Jackson Hole finale with one last job to do.

Finish the season.

Jackson Hole was no easy victory lap. Eight steep, technical stages stood between Brittany and the championship, with Lia Westermann and Izzy Troxell pushing the pace at the front.

Brittany battled through the entire weekend and finished third. That result added another 20 points to her season total, giving her 84 championship points.

Lia put together an impressive season of her own. She entered three rounds and won all three, taking victories at Granby Ranch, Cedar City and Jackson Hole. Three starts. Three wins. Seventy-five points.

But a championship is more than winning on one weekend. You have to show up, collect points and keep delivering across the season.

That is exactly what Brittany did.

Third at Granby Ranch. Second at Tamarack. Second at Cedar City.

Third at Jackson Hole.

Four races. Four podiums. Eighty-four points.

Brittany never stood on the top step of an individual round, but she never needed to. When every result was added together, her consistency made the difference and gave her a nine-point advantage in the final standings.

There is more than one way to win a championship.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gave the Pro Women eight stages of steep, physical and technical racing to close out the BME weekend. This mountain does not hand out easy seconds, and the women had to work for every one of them.

Lia Westermann put together the strongest overall performance of the weekend. She worked through the changing conditions, kept herself in the fight and finished with a combined time of 34:40.9 to take the Pro Women’s win.

Isabel Troxell was charging hard and found her way to the top of the stage results twice. She stayed on the hunt through all eight stages and finished second overall in 35:45.6, just over a minute behind Lia.

Briddy B battled through the entire weekend and completed the Pro Women’s podium in third. Jackson Hole threw everything it had at the riders, but Brittany kept pushing and made it through all eight stages to earn her place on the box.

What happens when a pile of young guns move into the Pro Men’s class, the World Tour racers come back for more, the locals defend their backyard and a championship has to be decided?
Things get crazy. Jackson Hole crazy.

Tanner castagnetto moved into the Pro class for the first time this weekend with no big-name sponsors—just Mom and Dad backing the program. That seemed to be more than enough. Tanner started the weekend buried in ninth on Stage 1, then went on an absolute tear. He won four straight stages and held off a stacked Pro field to take his first BME Pro win in 29:28.3.

Not a bad way to introduce yourself.

joe millington came back for more after taking the win in Cedar City. The New Zealander made the trip happen by sleeping in a U-Haul trailer all weekend, then went out and won two stages. That is about as privateer as it gets. Joe pushed Tanner all the way to the finish, ending the weekend only 6.6 seconds back in second place.

Maxwell Brown might be more enduro than he knows. He did not take a stage win, but he was fast everywhere—never finishing outside the top four on any stage. That consistency put him third overall, only 11.8 seconds away from the win. With speed like that over eight stages, we might need to see Maxwell at a few more BME rounds.

David Conners had a little transponder issue on Day 1, but once things got sorted, he was scary fast. David collected two stage wins and showed that he had the pace to fight at the very front. One rough stage left us asking the biggest question of the weekend: what could have been? He still fought his way to fourth.

Then there was Brian Selmer. Local knowledge goes a long way in Jackson Hole, and Brian knew exactly where to use it. He stayed solid through all eight stages and rounded out the top five, just 50.1 seconds behind Tanner.

Day 1 of the 2026 BME Championship Final took racing to a whole new level—10,450 feet, to be exact.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort legendary Aerial Tram, better known as “Big Red,” carried riders more than 4,100 vertical feet to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain. For this one special weekend, bikes were loaded onto the tram and given the green light to race down from the top—and BME was the event that made it happen

Welcome to the Pro Men class, Tanner Castagnetto—and what a way to make an entrance!

Tanner castagnetto is off to a flying start in his Pro Men debut, winning three stages. He edged Maxwell Brown by just 0.9 seconds on Stage 1, then added another 6.9 seconds on Stage 2 and 1.2 seconds on Stage 3.

David Conners threw down the fastest Pro Men’s time on Stage 1 with a 4:23.1, but Tanner’s consistency kept him at the top of the Day 1 standings.

It all comes down to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. 🏔️

The final round of the 2026 Big Mountain Enduro is set to decide several championship battles:

🔥 PRO MEN
Dalton Glenn leads Luke Degriselles by just 5 points — 67 to 62.

🔥 SEMI-PRO MEN
Matthew Baty holds an 11-point advantage over Craig Price, 58 to 47.

🔥 ADVANCED BOYS 15–18
Robbie Wodnik leads with 70, while only 3 points separate Braden Campbell and Sean Fleege in the battle for second.

🔥 AMATEUR MEN
Michael Franco, Sean Fleege and Zack Lawrence are locked together at 25 points.

🔥 BOYS 13–14
Lincoln Swift leads Wyatt Jacobson by only 3 points, with Anderson Agopian another 2 points back.

🔥 MASTER MEN 40–49
Christian Bradley leads Jesse Kom by 12 points, but Jackson Hole could still shake up the order.

🔥 PRO WOMEN
Brittany Van Buren brings a 14-point lead over Lia Westermann into the finale.

Remember: BME allows riders to drop one round, so the championship won’t necessarily be decided by the points displayed today. A strong result at Jackson Hole can replace a rider’s lowest score and completely change the final standings.

Most importantly, to receive a BME Championship award, you must:

✅ Have a valid Gravity Points card

It all comes down to Jackson Hole.

Luke DeGriselles and Dalton Glenn are set for a Pro Men championship showdown at the fifth and final round of the 2026 Big Mountain Enduro Series.

With each rider’s best four results counting, Luke currently holds 80 points from finishes of third, third, second and fourth. Dalton has 67 points after a win, a second and a third—but because he missed one round, every point he earns at the finale will count.

Luke has the advantage, but his 18-point fourth place is now the score he needs to replace. That makes the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort scenarios especially interesting:

• If Luke wins, Dalton must finish second to take the championship. Third would produce a tie.

• If Luke finishes second, Dalton must finish fourth or better. Fifth gives Luke the title.

• If Luke finishes third, Dalton must finish fifth or better. Sixth produces a tie.

• If Luke finishes fourth, Dalton must finish seventh or better. Eighth produces a tie.

The equation changes with every position, but one thing is clear: Dalton needs a strong result—and Luke cannot afford to let him get too far ahead.

Five rounds. Four counting scores. One championship-deciding weekend.
