LTB Kids Attendant
Part-Time | 15–20 Hours Per Week
At Lift the Bar Fitness, we believe parents deserve a great workout — and kids deserve a safe, fun, engaging space while they’re here! We’re looking for an energetic, dependable, and positive LTB Kids Attendant to join our team.
If you love working with children, enjoy staying active, and can create a structured but fun environment, we’d love to meet you!
SCHEDULE
• 4-hour shifts
• Average 15–20 hours per week
• Morning Shifts: 9:00am–1:00pm (Monday–Saturday)
• Evening Shifts: 4:00pm–8:00pm (Monday–Thursday)
• 1–2 Saturday morning shifts per month required (on rotation)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactive Room Management
• Maintain active supervision of all children at all times
• Keep the environment safe, organized, and running smoothly
• Anticipate needs before they become problems
Create a Positive Kids Experience
• Facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts and activities
• Encourage positive interactions between children
• Help resolve minor conflicts calmly and confidently
• Keep children actively engaged and playing safely
Parent Communication & Customer Service
• Provide an easy, welcoming check-in experience for parents and children
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents
• Use our secure check-in system to notify parents of diaper changes, bathroom breaks, or needs
• Represent LTB with a positive, upbeat attitude and a smile
Room Care & Cleaning
• Keep toys and play areas tidy throughout shifts
• Complete light cleaning and sanitizing tasks
• Leave the room orderly and ready for the next group
REQUIREMENTS
• CPR/AED certification (required)
◦ Course provided at no cost if not already certified
• Background check required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Safety-minded, proactive, and dependable
• Previous experience with children in a group setting is strongly preferred (church, daycare, camp, etc.)
COMPENSATION & PERKS
• Starting at $10/hour. Higher starting pay available based on experience, with additional increases tied to performance and reliability.
