For the last few months, my focus wasn’t weight loss.
It was healing.
After a hysterectomy, two bacterial infections, and five rounds of antibiotics in nine weeks, I learned something important:
When life gets hard, nutrition becomes about more than the number on the scale.
I couldn’t control every diagnosis, medication, or doctor’s appointment.
But I could control how I nourished my body.
So I focused on simple things:
✔️ Protein
✔️ Fruits and vegetables
✔️ Fiber
✔️ Real food
Did that cure my infections? No.
But I believe it helped support my body while it fought to recover.
Sometimes nutrition isn’t about getting smaller.
Sometimes it’s about building a stronger, more resilient body that can keep fighting when you need it most.
That perspective has changed everything for me. ❤️
Good nutrition is definitely underrated. Have questions? Let's talk!
