We are OPEN today August 24th and tomorrow August 25th at Tygart Adventure Lake! 🌊

Just a reminder: the season at Tygart Adventure Lake ends after Labor Day, Monday September 7th. Our end of the season schedule is as follows:

The TLSP Foundation is currently accepting artisans/crafters/ vendors for our Annual Appalachian Fall Festival to be held at the Tygart Lake State Park Lodge on Saturday September 19th from 9am-3pm.

Unfortunately we do not have the space/available for trailers and/or food trucks.

Here's what's going on this week at the Tygart Lake State Park Nature Center. We will have special guest Doug Wood stopping in for a history walk on Saturday morning (9AM, meet at the campground) and then Saturday evening (6:30PM at the Lodge) for a living history talk!

The great Doug Wood returns to Tygart for an evening of first-person historical interpretation as Guyasuta, an early ally and later adversary of George Washington in the western Virginia frontier period. This is a great program for all ages and a fascinating look into the early history of West Virginia!

Saturday, August 1st! Bil Lepp returns to Tygart at 6:30 PM in the Lodge upstairs conference room.

Saturday, August 1st, 6:30PM in the upstairs Lodge conference room. Bil Lepp has been seen all across the state and all over the country on the History Channel, and Tygart is excited to welcome him back to the park for an evening of tall tales with WV's champion "liar".
