Hello All!
There will be NO class on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th at 6:30 PM. All classes will resume and run as usual starting Tuesday, May 26th.
We have learned a lot about the Zoom platform over the past couple of months, and have worked out many of the bugs. If you tried our Zoom Zumba classes in the beginning, but were frustrated by some of the technical issues that arose, hopefully you will find that many of those issues have been resolved. We would love to have you come back and join us, or join us for the first time!
We know that quarantine has made it a little bit difficult for some to get motivated to exercise, but according to the CDC, the recommended amount of exercise for an individual each week should be at least 150 minutes. Let us help you meet that goal!
Here are some great reasons to join us...
You get a chance to stay connected. You can see and/or chat with our wonderful Zumba friends before and/or after class using the Zoom "gallery view".
Dance from the comfort of your own home where nobody is watching.

"In a small study undertaken in 2012, researchers at North Dakota’s Minot State University found that the Latin-style dance program known as Zumba improves mood and certain cognitive skills, such as visual recognition and decision-making. Other studies show that dance helps reduce stress, increases levels of the feel-good hormone serotonin, and helps develop new neural connections, especially in regions involved in executive function, long-term memory, and spatial recognition. Never before have the nation's exercise routines been so visible, with streets, parks and public spaces regularly dotted with walkers, joggers and cyclists huffing and puffing their way through their permitted daily exercise.
