Today was our last day of the 2025-2026 season. I felt it appropriate to take a moment of silence in honor of Katarina and her family.

Katarina was just six years old when she gained her wings. She was kind, full of light, and loved making new friends. One place that allowed her to do both was Red River Valley Gymnastics.

Katarina’s Corner was at our door to greet us every Sunday. It was created to spread the kindness she so naturally shared—by providing leotards and removing the financial burden for families, so every gymnast feels included and supported.

Today was about gathering to celebrate and support our own gymnasts after all of their hard work this year. The other coaches and I are so proud of the growth each and everyone of them showed. Always remember to laugh out loud. Smile often. Take all the pictures and capture all the videos. These moments matter.

Gymnastics today or No Gymnastics? I know it is super cold out, those that live in town, travel wise, shouldn’t be an issue. What do you think parents, Cancel class or keep it open?

TWO SUNDAYS LEFT

I keep meaning to post about our last day, but I keep forgetting how quickly it’s approaching because I honestly can’t believe it’s already that time. 😵‍💫

For the last day, the coaches and I asked the kiddos what they would prefer—a show or having their families on the floor with them. Once again, they chose YOU.

On our final day, we’ll start off as usual, and then I’ll open the floor for families to come down. PLEASE, please join them on the floor. They truly love this time with you. They get to drag you around, show you what they’ve been working on, and share their favorite skills. They want you to take all the pictures and videos! 📸🎥

They have worked so incredibly hard this year and made some big improvements. We are beyond proud of each and every one of them. 🤩

We have a few more tasks needing volunteers for our fundraiser. Instead of raffles gymnastics is hosting the candlelight hike. Money we raise helps us purchase new equipment. A few items we have purchased in the past that we use every practice would be the two big beams, the bigger set of bars and the tumble strips.

Grafton’s Candlelight Hike is January 3rd. This event serves as this year's gymnastics fundraiser, and we are seeking volunteers for various straightforward roles. To participate, please visit the Grafton Parks and Recreation page to register your interest.

Fortunately, we do not experience this often. Lice were brought to our attention, and I try to follow school policies as much as possible, however I have learned the school no longer sends kiddos home when lice are found. We are not affiliated with the school and due to our tumble strips being carpet, if your kiddo has lice, they cannot return to gymnastics until 24-hours after they have been treated. Our carpets are not cleaned between individual classes and to ensure the "no-sharing" part of precautions we will be firm about this 24-hour rule. I apologize if this upsets anyone, this is just to ensure that it is not spread from participation in our program.

Here is your reminder that our gymnastics season is commencing in October 🤩, which is rapidly approaching. Please ensure that you register in a timely manner.

We kindly request that you reach out if you are willing to assist. Your support enables classes to operate more efficiently, ensuring a more productive and enjoyable experience for all gymnasts.

Parent Tots is for children not yet enrolled in school + 1 Adult (required) and class time is 1-1:30 PM

Tiny Tot A are for grades PreK- K and class time is 1:30-2:15 PM

Tiny Tot B are for grades PreK & K and class time is 2:15-3 PM

Advanced is grades 1st though 12th and class time is 3-4:30 PM

Please sign your gymnast up according to their age. If they are more advanced, I will speak with you about moving your child up to a more advanced level.
