Season Class Spotlight! Classes begin in September!

Clogging 1 & 2 are both taught by Miss McKinzie on Sunday evenings. Dancers will learn classic clogging movements while building both a recital and holiday routine throughout the season!

Meet The Teacher Monday! - Miss Briony!

Miss Briony has been dancing since she was three, began assistant teaching at the age of 9, and took on her own classes two years ago at the age of 14! She began competing at the age of 6 in clogging and hip hop. Miss Briony has danced on stages from Denver, over to Myrtle Beach, and down to Orlando. She is a two-time national champion in the intermediate duet/trio division, and a national runner up in the intermediate solo division. She's won title twice, once with her self-choreographed solo she put together as a 14-year-old.

"I'm heading into my junior year of high school in Gothenburg. I'm active at the studio, as well as in Softball and Tennis. In my spare time I like hanging out with my family, boyfriend, friends, my cat, and my two birds. I enjoy golfing and being outdoors. I also love traveling and exploring. I love being around kids and volunteering for anything related to kids and/or cancer related as I am an eight-year survivor. My favorite style of dance is clogging. My favorite thing about teaching at Vibes is getting to watch the dancers learn new skills and find a passion for dance. And I love spending my time with all of my little dancers!"

Miss Briony teaches Preschool Hip Hop, Beginners Hip Hop, Beginners Clogging, Pom 1, and is moving into a full competition team director position this season, taking on our Clique Hip Hop, Squad Hip Hop, and Snaps Clogging teams, as well as several solos and duets. This summer she is teaching our upcoming Country Clogging Camp, Hip Hop Camps, Pom Camps, and Swiftie Camps!

*Country Clogging camp starts on Tuesday, June 16th and there's still a few spots open! All of her seasonal classes are full except for Pom 1! There is very limited space in a couple of her later camps.

Meet The Teacher Monday! - Kicking it off with Miss Mashaela!

Miss Mashaela has been gracing the studio with her presence since we opened, bringing her into year 7 as a teacher at Vibes! Her relaxed, artistic presence is one of our favorite things about her and her teaching style! She's one of our two expecting mamas and we cannot wait for baby girl Macek to be a regular in the studio!

"I work at Gothenburg Public Schools and this will be my seventh year at Vibes. My husband, Austin, and I are expecting a baby girl early August. My favorite dance style is tap. My favorite thing about being a dance teacher is helping other kids find their passion. I love working at Vibes because it lets me let out my creative side."

Miss Mashaela teaches Tap 1, Ballet 1, and Musical Theatre 1 during the regular season and runs our ever popular Princess Camp during the summer, which is happening this week! We do still have 2 openings in our 1st Grade & Up Princess Camp!

Registration is LIVE! And we've already broken 90 registered dancers for the upcoming season!😳🤯 Grateful doesn't even begin to describe how we feel about the growth and support we've received in the last 6 years and we cannot wait to see what Season SEVEN brings!
