This is the admin page for our Orange County NY Thunderbolts Swim Team, part of the Hudson Valley Region of the Special Olympics NY. OCNY Thunderbolts offer other sports as well.

Join the Hudson Valley Special Olympics this Sunday, April 26th, at Shea Stadium! This incredible event relies on volunteers like you to create a lasting impact for athletes across New York. Anyone from the community with post access can volunteer; minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Volunteers are asked to report to Cadet Staff at 9 a.m. for assignments. Grab a seat for the Opening Ceremony at 9:45 a.m. and watch the games kick off at 11 a.m. Best of all, this opportunity is open to everyone! If you canโ€™t stay for the full day, feel free to arrive or depart at any timeโ€”just let the Cadet Staff know. Final timelines will be emailed to all volunteers by April 24th.

Unfiform: Please wear comfortable clothes if volunteering (ACUs for Military). Water will be available!
