Caleb Hall is back!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Bangor, Maine (February 27, 2024) – New England Fights (“NEF”) presents its next mixed-martial-arts event “NEF 57: All the Smoke,” on April 20, 2024, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Earlier today, the fight promotion announced the addition of a professional welterweight bout to the card. Caleb Hall (4-1) will meet Kyle Hill (2-0) at a fight weight of 170 pounds.

Caleb Hall will return to the NEF cage for the first time since 2021. He has won seven fights in a row with the promotion dating back to his amateur days in 2015. Hall is a former NEF Amateur Featherweight Champion. He has won all four of his professional fights with NEF via first-round submission. Hall currently trains with Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight with Hill will be Hall’s first venture into the welterweight division.

“I’m looking forward to fighting in front of my home state again and climbing the ranks in a new weight class,” said Hall.

Kyle Hill will return to NEF for his second overall fight and his first as a pro. He captured the NEF Amateur Welterweight Championship at “NEF 48” with a third-round technical knockout of Curtis Ouellette (3-6). Hill has finished both of his previous professional opponents in the second round. He currently represents Nostos MMA based in Somersworth, New Hampshire where he trains under UFC veteran and former NEF Professional Lightweight Champion Devin Powell.

“I’m to fight for NEF again,” declared Hill. “The last time I fought for NEF, I was a 2-0 amateur and winning the 170 strap at Thompson’s Point. Now I’m a 2-0 pro fighting in an arena at the Cross Insurance Center. Me being fired up is an understatement. Caleb is a hell of a grappler and I’m looking to show that anywhere the fight goes, I’m ready for it. I’m not a grappler, striker or wrestler. I’m a complete martial artist and April 20th, I get to show that.”

“NEF 57: All the Smoke” will mark NEF’s debut in the Cross Insurance Center arena, the room that played host to the UFC’s only stop in Maine to date back in 2014 for “UFC Fight Night 47.” Doors will open at 5 pm with the first fight taking place at 6 pm on April 20.
