Amelia and Jemario Williams had a great end to their seasons at the TSSAA D1 class A Track & Field championship. Senior Jemario Williams closed out an outstanding GHS career by placing 5th in the Long Jump (4 points) with a jump of 20-10.50, 7th in the 100m (2 points) in 10.90 PR, and 7th in the 200m (2 points) in 22.50 PR. Thank you, Jemario, for your leadership, dedication, and everything you gave to Gordonsville Track & Field over the years. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.

We also want to recognize Amelia Williams for a strong performance at state as just an 8th grader, placing 6th in the 1600m (3 points) in 5:56.53 and 7th in the 3200m (2 points) in 12:41.67 (PR). The future is bright for GHS Track & Field!

Jemario Williams had a good jump this morning! He places 5th in the TSSAA state Track & Field championship in the Long Jump with a distance of 20-10.5! Good luck in the 100m and 200m this evening!

8th grader Amelia Williams ran a 12:41 PR, placing 7th in the 3200m state championship! Congrats Amelia and good luck in the 1600m this afternoon!
