8-14-21 loft fly.
We have spent the past week teaching the birds to exit the loading shoot and mid next week I will move the trailer in place and teach them the next step.
it's still miserable hot and humid as always in August in georgia. The plan was to start road training on September 7th and if the birds are ready we will.
There is still a hundred or so that choose not to get up and fly . I am hoping once they are in the trailer and have to fly across the field they will join with the rest of the birds in the air.
The 10th flight is 80% in but the later birds are still heavy in the body moult . I am watching it closely as that may determine when road training will starts .

8-6-21 Birds are being taught to leave where the loading shoot will be placed. it is cooler this morning and alot were up and flying . 10th flight is half way in, a few more weeks and I will start getting more aggressive to get the birds up and flying
